Projects
Datong project (EPC)
As ZhongDe’s first EPC project, the Datong project was finished on time and its quality is at a very high level. It went into operation and was connected with the power grid for the sale of electricity in November 2009. The maximum daily waste disposal capacity of Datong is 1,500 tons on the basis of 7,600 hours of equipment utilisation per year. The annual maximum treatment capacity is 360,000 tons. The real gross profit margin of Datong reached 26.6%. In September 2010, the Central China TV station (CCTV) broadcasted a special 45 minutes program, which showed that the off-gas emissions at the Datong plant fulfil not only the Chinese national standard, but also some EU limits (e.g. dioxin emission). This program strengthened ZhongDe’s image of EPC project management in China.
Feicheng project (BOT)
The Feicheng project concerns the construction and operation of a energy-from-waste plant with a daily waste disposal capacity of 200 tons. The Company will sell the generated steam when the plant is in operation. The capital expenditure amounts to RMB 51 million (€5.2 million) and the franchise is for a period of 30 years. As at 31 December 2010, the project construction was largely completed and entered into trial operation. The off-gas test showed that the emissions at the Feicheng project also fulfil not only the Chinese national standard, but also some EU limits (e.g. dioxin emission).
Zhucheng project (EPC)
The Zhucheng project comprises the construction of 500 tons per day energy-from-waste plant. The project is worth approximately RMB 268 million (€27.3 million) and will be completed at the end of 2011. By 31 December 2010, 31% of the project construction had been completed.
Zhoukou project (BOT)
The Zhoukou project comprises the construction of 500 tons per day energy-from-waste plant. The project will be completed at the end of 2011. By 31 December 2010, 59% of the project construction had been completed.
