ZhongDe Waste Technology AG announces change in the Supervisory Board

ZhongDe Waste Technology AG today announces a change of personnel in the Supervisory Board.
Effective from 1 January 2009, Prof. Dr. Bernd Neukirchen assumes the position of the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ZhongDe Waste Technology AG. He succeeds the current Vice Chairman Mr. Joachim Ronge, who is going to resign on 31 December 2008 due to his upcoming start in a new operative function in a similar market segment from January 2009 on.
Dr. Bernd Neukirchen has gained a doctorate degree in chemical engineering and 35 years professional experience in waste management, in particular hazardous waste. Between 1973 and 1981 he was Construction Manager and operator of special waste treatment plants at Gesellschaft zur Beseitigung von Sondermüll in Bayern mbH (GSB, Bavarian hazardous waste management company). Subsequently, he led several subsidiary companies of STEAG AG until 2005, amongst others in the RZR located in Herten comprising two municipal waste and two hazardous waste incineration plants. Since 1986 he has been lecturer at the Technische Universität Dortmund (University of Dortmund) where he was appointed as professor at the Department of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering in 1996.
Between 2002 and 2004, Dr. Neukirchen was a member of the task force "Development of Chinese Environmental Protection Industry (EPI)" of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED). Since 2005 he has been independent consultant for waste treatment, off gas cleaning, cleaner production and emissions trading, amongst others in Germany, China, India and Panama.
